Cow & Quince Restaurant and Market opened to provide local families and visitors access to the farm bounty that surrounds the New Glarus community. From the historic dairies and creameries to the newer organic farms, there is a diversity of food and farmstead products in Green County and nearby communities. Come in for a meal or to shop for groceries and gifts. They're always happy to share their knowledge of local farms and connect people with seasonal eating. Cow & Quince is also hosting the SOIL SISTERS Taste of Place on Friday.
Cow & Quince is the first community supported restaurant (CSR) in Green County. While open to the public, you can also take advantage of the benefits of becoming a CSR member. Through your membership you invest in local farmers, reduce your carbon footprint, and have access to whole, sustainably raised foods.

Known for both Swiss specialties and their Friday night fish fry, the Ratskeller Restaurant is located on the lower level of the Turner Hall, allowing guests to savor a meal while taking in the authentic charm of the Old World. Established in 1868, this Turner Hall is the only one of Swiss origin remaining in the United States. The building, a Swiss Emmenthal-style chalet designed by German architect Max Hanisch, is listed on both the National and State Registers of Historic Places and is accessible to people with disabilities.
