The SOIL SISTERS event is a full weekend celebration that includes 5 main components:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: August 6 - 8 (various times and locations)
On-farm hands-on workshops. Preserve the harvest, make cheese or be a farmer or rancher for the afternoon. There’s something for everyone.
Various fees apply, ranging from $25 to $100. Ticketed events.
Farm-to-Table Dinner at Dorothy's Range
Saturday, August 7, 4 pm – 8 pm
Farm-to-table dinner featuring local cuisine. For adults, ages 21 and over.
$92 per person. Ticketed event.
Pizza on the Farm at Inn Serendipity Farm
Saturday, August 7, 5 pm – 9 pm
Personal-sized pizzas cooked in a wood-fired pizza oven for this fund-raiser meal. Children of all ages welcomed. Ticketed event.
Friday, August 6 and Sunday, August 8, from 12:30 pm – 5 pm
Take a bus tour to several farms, both on Friday and Sunday. Celebrate local agriculture by visiting small family farms led by Wisconsin women committed to a healthy, fresh future for our communities. From tomatoes and cucumbers to cottage food products, sheep to solar energy, bed & breakfast farmstays to beef – these farms on the tour offer a unique diversity of farm experiences showcasing the summer’s bounty in one afternoon.
Farmstands are open at many farms, with eggs, fresh produce, cut flowers and hand-crafted items available. So bring your coolers to stock up.
